Denza N8 DM Hybrid Luxury Hunting SUV
On August 5, 2023, the Denza N8 was launched. There are 2 versions of the new car, and the price range is from 319,800 to 326,800 CNY. This is the second model of the N series of the Denza brand, and the official also regards it as the replacement product of the Denza X after the brand renewal.
There is no difference between the two models of Denza N8 in terms of overall power system and configuration. The car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine + front and rear dual motors. The total horsepower of the motors reaches 490 horsepower and the total torque is 675 Nm. The 1.5T engine has a maximum horsepower of 139 horsepower and a maximum torque of 231 Nm. It is matched with an E-CVT gearbox. The official acceleration from 100 kilometers to 4.3 seconds.

In terms of battery life, the car is equipped with a 45.8-degree lithium iron phosphate battery. The NEDC pure electric battery life is 216km, and the NEDC comprehensive battery life is 1030km. It supports 90 kilowatts of fast charging, which can be charged to 80% in 20 minutes, and slow charging is 6.5 hours.
Denza N8 is also equipped with BYD's cloud car body stabilization system and CCT comfort control technology, and is equipped with an Eaton mechanical differential lock. In terms of power hardware, the performance of this Denza N8 is indeed very good, especially the mechanical differential lock, which further improves its off-road passability.
As for the rest of the comfort configuration, we can see clearly in the picture above, including Nappa leather seats (front seat ventilation/heating/massage). Dual 50W mobile phone wireless fast charging, Dynaudio audio, etc. are all standard configurations of the whole series. The six-seater version also provides 8-way electric adjustment for the second row of seats, including ventilation/heating/massage functions. In terms of functionality, It is not lost to MPV models of the same price.
All Denza N8 series are equipped with 265/45 R21 tires as standard, but two wheel styles are provided for selection. Including the halberd wheels and low wind resistance wheels, from the visual effect point of view, it is obvious that the 21-inch halberd is more dynamic. The style of low-drag wheels is relatively conservative.
Denza N8 does not make too many differentiated settings in the configuration this time, which is very friendly. From the perspective of cost performance, it is more recommended that you choose the 4-wheel drive super-hybrid flagship six-seater version. After all, you can get two independent seats in the second row with more functions. Even if you only have a family of 3/4 people, it can be used as a large four-seater model at ordinary times, and it also ensures that each seat has comfortable functionality.
